Christmas Tree O' Christmas Tree...

So.. all my girls ushered me to my first "Festival Of Trees" celebration yesterday. It's been a looooooooong time since I felt that giddy-kid-counting-down-to-Christmas feeling. It was a wonderful early Christmas present. And... I can share it with you! Hope you enjoy :-)

Division of Labor

She is poo patrol, I am mouse carcasses and decapitated bird removal. Aw, love!

She is "Honey, wouldn't that look great hung there?", I am "Yes Dear, I'll get the hammer and nails and level". Definitely love!

Can You Find My Bra?

I am a habitual bra wearer. I even wear one to bed. Well, at least I used to. It seems these days it comes off 10 to 20 minutes after I crawl into bed, weird huh? Anyway, in the morning I have to go on a bra hunt. Is it on the floor? Under my pillow? Are the cats sleeping on it? I never know. I need a clapper for my undergarments now.

"I'm guessing gay people won't get validated..."

... said my more than excited femme as she looked at the back of our parking stub. We both giggled at the poignancy of her comment as we were on our way to our area's contribution to the "Join the Impact: Stop the H8" protest.

This, I must confess was my first "protest". Though to tell you the truth...it didn't feel like a protest as much as taking a firm stand. Protest sounds so negative, but in this case, it was nothing but positive. Great people, great message, great cause, and the fact that there were no "haters" certainly helped. A positive all in itself to our cause.

My gal and I went as photo-journalists or "historians" as she calls us. Below are a few of my snaps. Hopefully the better half will add hers too.

The Inequities of the Butch Femme Relationship

After living only a week or so with my butch I have noticed some extreme inequities going on. From the moment she moved in I was in the closet picking out and wearing her clothes. I am absolutely sure I will never find her thumbing through my vintage titanic dresses trying to decide which one matches her eyes better.

When it comes to shoes she is safer. We wear different sizes and there won't be cross dressing there, well except that her crocks rock and these slippers I am wearing at this minute seem to feel like fluffy clouds...

I know that she will never use my makeup but I will admit now in front of God and everyone that I *have* used some of her hair products.

Not sure I'd call them "inequities" quite frankly... Yes, she get's a new wardrobe, but I get to see a sexy woman wearing my clothes. How hot is that?

Shoes, eh... the only time I look at her feet are when they are in my hands getting massaged. So, most of the time, I wouldn't know if she had my shoes on or not. And... even if she did, it's likely she didn't grab my pair of worn out tennies that adorn my feet on a daily basis.

The make-up thing.... shhhhhhhhh .... don't tell her... I 've used her make-up..... just to even up the score ;-)
